Masalah rambut yg paling ditakuti wanita apa sih? Rambut rontok pastinya.. Sedikit demi sedikit rambut menghilang, lama-lama... hiiii.. 

Selain faktor eksternal dan internal, ternyata ada kebiasaan yang bisa bikin rambutmu rontok. Sadar atau gak sadar kita sering banget ngelakui itu loh dear.

1.     Mengikat rambut terlalu kencang
2.     Mengeringkan rambut yg masih basah dengan menggosokkannya menggunakan handuk. Soalnya gesekkan handuk pada rambut bikin kutikula rapuh dan menyebabkan rambut rontok.
3.     Mengeringkan rambut terlalu sering dengan hair dryer.
4.     Menggunakan perawatan kimiawi, smoothing, pewarnaan rambut.
5.     Bahkan nutrisi itu berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan rambut loh more or less. Membantu sedikit dari dalam tubuh, untuk kesehatan kulit.
 

Untuk kamu yang memakai hijab/jilbab ada juga kebiasaan yang bisa bikin rambutmu rontok selain hal‐hal di atas. Apa aja sih?

1.     Memakai hijab saat rambut masih basah dan lembab. Well.. you know the result, rambut patah dan rontok.
2.     Karena rambut rawan lembab yang disebabkan oleh keringat, dan jika keringat gak segera dicuci bisa menyebabkan pertumbuhan bakteri di kulit kepala.

Sounds simple kan? Tetapi hal‐hal itu bisa menyebabkan rambutmu rontok. Tapi solusinya kok kayaknya susah ditemukan ya.. Pake shampoo anti rambut rontok yg selama ini ada di pasaran ga ngaruh-ngaruh juga..

Beberapa solusi untuk mengubah kebiasaan buruk soal rambut yg bisa aku temui dari buku, majalah, dan internet:

1.     Jangan terlalu sering mengikat rambut, sesekali biarkan rambutmu bernafas. Jika kamu memakai hijab, keringkan dahulu rambut sebelum memakai hijab.
2.     Sesegera mungkin keramas jika sampai di rumah, apalagi jika banyak aktifitas hari itu yang menyebabkan kamu berkeringat.
3.     Pakai rangkaian perawatan rambut secara menyeluruh. Shampoo dan conditioner setiap kali keramas dan perawatan tambahan yg menutrisi rambut sesuai dengan kebutuhannya
4.     Jika kamu menggunakan motor untuk berangkat kerja, lebih baik pakai helm sendiri. Who knows ada kutu apa jamur di helm ojek langgananmu kan? No offense to them, tapi kita akan lebih higenis jika pakai helm sendiri.

Dry Skin? Not Anymore with Olive Oil and Body Butter from Indonesia

Aku cinta buatan Indonesia..

Rasanya pas banget mengumandangkan sepenggal kalimat itu di bulan Agustus ini.
Kita memang gak harus memanggul senjata lagi, karena udah bukan jaman perang. Tapi gak berarti kita berhenti menunjukkan rasa cinta kepada Indonesia.

Sering berada di ruangan berAC? Kulit jadi kering, bersisik, dan kalau digaruk muncul garis putih? Turn off banget ya :(
Kulitku beberapa bulan terakhir ini begitu tuh. 9 jam di ruangan berAC bikin kulit kering banget ternyata.

Aku bukan tipe orang yang suka bolak balik mengaplikasikan suatu produk ke tubuh. Sama kayak aku males retouch make up, nah gitu pula behaviourku buat produk kecantikan yang lain. Males? Bukan.. Tapi pikir deh, kamu berangkat dari rumah, naik transportasi umum, beraktifitas dalam ruangan AC yang sirkulasi udara gak ganti, trus makan siang, balik lagi ke kantor. Kebayang gak selama perjalananmu dari rumah ke kantor/ kampus debu, kotoran dan lainnya menempel ke kulit. Trus udah gitu masih mau ditimpa ama produk lagi? Aduh not for me :(

Bisa sih ngakalin dengan bawa tissue basah kemana-mana, di lap buat bersihin debu dan kotoran yang menempel trus pake produk lagi. Too much work for me!

Selama ini pasrah dengan kondisi begitu. Tapi sekarang gak lagi donk, i came up with solutions as always. Mau cantik tapi gak bangkrut harus pinter-pinter putar otak LOL.

Meet The "One" or two :)

Mustika Ratu Olive Oil (Minyak Zaitun) dan Mustika Ratu Zaitun Body Butter

Iya, aku pake keduanya sebagai body lotion sekarang.

Caranya :

1. Aku tetesin 2-3 tetes Olive Oil di telapak tanganku
2. Aku colek body butter secukupnya trus ditaruh di telapak tangan yang sudah ada Olive Oil-nya
3. Diratakan dan diusap ke tangan, kaki, dan tempat-tempat lain yang biasa aku pake-in body lotion.

Hasilnya :

Pertama agak lengket, tapi bukan rasa lengket kayak ketumpahan makanan manis atau minyak. SUPER LEMBAB aja. Setelah 5 menit meresap dengan sempurna ke kulit.

Itu tips-nya, sekarang ke bagian love and hate yuk...

Love :
Kulitku super moist.. even seharian di kantor.
Wangi.

Hate :
Makenya emang gak praktis, "agak rempong" karena harus nyampur dua "adonan"
GAK ADA SPF book...
Ya ini in between sih, kalau kalian nyari produk yang praktis udah ada SPF ini jelas gak ya, kecuali mau make SPF yang terpisah.
Solusi buat kalian yang pengen pake metode nyampur-nyampur ini ya pake malem hari pas mau tidur, jadi gak ada SPF gak jadi masalah buat kalian :)

Nah, gak murah-murah banget sik. Tapi it works untuk kulit yang super duper kering! And i love it...

Mungkin kalian males ikutin tipsku nyampur 2 adonan, tapi gak ada ruginya kok stok si Olive Oil di rumah, bisa buat pijet, menutrisi rambut (kadang aku pake jadi gantinya conditioner leace in), bisa banget buat bersihin make up sampe mascara waterproof. Rambut Rontok : Mitos dan Fakta

Kalau lagi “dapet” (baca: menstruasi) gak boleh keramas malem‐malem, kata Nenekku dulu.HUH? Hubungannya apa deh? Terkadang kita bingung mana yang bener atau mana yang cuman fakta. Iya gak sih?

Masih ingat donk, ama postinganku tentang rambutku yang semakin rontok. Huuhuhu…

Setelah kepo sana sini, baca‐baca website sampe kebingungan sendiri kebanyakan referensi, akhirnya aku nemu fakta yang menarik di http://hairfall.dove.co.id

Nah, berbekal mitos dan fakta itu. Aku mulai menganalisa deh, behavior aku dalam merawat rambut selama ini. Banyak mitos‐mitos sotoy yang kadang bikin ketawa seperti almarhum Nenekku tersayang, padahal sih mungkin karena jaman dulu tuh gak ada yang namanya hairdryer, jadi kalo malem‐malem keramas yang ada masuk angin!

So far sih, aku ganti‐ganti produk shampoo, ternyata gak kebukti tuh kulit kepala bisa kebal terhadap satu formula dari shampoo. Jadi sebenarnya, setia aja ama satu produk gak papa. <= OKAY CATET!

Trus gak bisa kalo gak pake conditioner, karena rambut tetep butuh conditioner untuk menutrisi rambut <= CATET JUGA

Lalu gak cukup perawatan biasa, seperti shampoo dan conditioner aja. HARUS pake yang namanya extra treatment seperti Masker, Serum, chachahcha… lalala karena as a matter of fact, rambut kita butuh nutrisi EXTRA sesuai kebutuhan rambut masing-masing! <= Ini juara, tapi kata siapa mau cantik itu gampang! BUTUH EFFORT chyin… :D

Nah, selanjutnya mari berburu produk yang cocok di kepala, hati, dan KANTONG! Setuju?

The newest White Perfect series from L’Oreal Paris.

It claims that 80% women refuse to do Laser treatment after using this White Perfect Laser.  And can reduce dark spots in 8 weeks. They already have a blogger event at Singapore, and launched at Malaysia. But not yet launch in Indonesia.

 First Impressions :

I thought all essence would be watery, but not this Anti-Spot Brightening essence the texture is quite creamy but not too creamy. If compared, the texture quite similar with face lotion. Absorb fast on skin surface, not sticky. I didn’t smell any particular scent on this product as well.

For the moisturizer, it has a beautiful pink color. And texture more creamy than White Perfect Melanin Vanish. It has a fresh scent but I can’t tell what it is.

I am currently using this products for almost two week now, well in one or two days I maybe skip this because I was exhausted and didn’t even wash my face properly just using make up remover tissue (bad example, DO NOT FOLLOW hahaha). I can’t wait to share with you my face after 8 weeks of using this White Perfect Laser series.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE TO HANG OUT in Jakarta.

As you guys know, i don't have a social life since i worked in Jakarta <= anyone believe this? Hihihi...

But it's true, sometimes i have to stay late at office that i'm so tired  even to do anything else. But as always, i made the effort to met my besties at least once or twice a week. And that was comforting.

You know my mood booster, right Fantabulous? My shoes, my dress, my make up, my besties, my coffee, my music.

Anyway, if you are with your besties anywhere will do, right?

But my current favourite place, or course from one of my favourite "SocialTrepreneur Giant!" Ismaya Group.

They have two new places, SKYE 56 and FOOK YEW (dying to try their famous bubble tea there).

I've been to SKYE since the first day it was open. Dated there <3, Laugh there, Hang out with my besties there.

The view is to die for, if you live in a jungle that full with giant building like Jakarta. Kinda reminds me of Bandung a little bit, i love it at sunset to night especially. I can see all the light from the open air lounge. The light kinda reminds me of jewel.

The food? Oh please, you have to ask? Sushi Groove, Pizza Ebirra, Pasta De Waraku, SOHO at Grand Indonesia, Kitchenette? How was the food and beverages there? Nah, even better at SKYE because it gets chill sometimes, gets you hungry hahaha <= excuse my poor logic Fantabulous.

I even heard some friends said they have to made reservation in advance to get in there. Oppsiee... book your table now hey!!! And get ready for the unforgettable experience.

Horrible Hair

Please don’t get disgusted just yet!

I’m having hair problem. Yes this is the longest hair I’ve ever experience since high school, which is.. OK, smarties.. if I reveal you all will know how old I am. No WAY! LOL….

Well… back to the problem, the pictures tells a thousand words. That is what happening every time I wash my hair. GROSS to the max! And I can’t cheat and told my friends that it was theirs because I have my own bathroom  at my boarding house >.<

I got a lot of advice actually, to cut my hair, to layer it, to smoothing it, and even to cut it short!

All of that leave me to confusion, what should I do. I’m tired of cleaning my bathroom, every single day.. due to the hair fall. And my room always seems dirty because the hair fall out everywhere even on my beloved Leopard carpet. Hiks..

I tried so many products, but the shampoo work well on my scalp, but dries my hair. The conditioner works well but my scalp got itchy like hell. 

Since I’m already working, I really want to get this problem solve ASAP. You all know I like to look good and smells good from head to toe.

I did some research actually, hair loss can be cause by lots of factors such as stress, pollution, lack of nutrition etc. But really I don’t want to bored you with that.

I really wish there are some products that can help me solve this problem. Anyone ever experiencing the same problem? Please do share LI’d love to hear your thought and this is serious. Hair is a big deal for me, Ladies..

Review & Swatch : L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick #371 Pink Passion

Holla, i used to be such a lip gloss addict! But lately i found out 4 lipstick on my daily beauty case, eh?

Don't know how they end up there, LOL. From Red to Coral, to Nude color.
And since bright make up or lips so happening right now. i want to join the party too.

Let's talk about my lips condition first, i assume i am allergic to beeswax since i easily get chappy lips even when i used lip butter/ lip balm that has beeswax on it's ingredients.

Therefore i am super careful when choosing my lipstick. No matter what the BA said i always tried the lipstick before buying (clean it first of course, and apply with my finger when i am trying at store). After eating and walking around, i usually made the decision. Buy or Not Buy.

I am in love with Dian Sastro's picture at L'Oreal Paris Indonesia FB Page http://facebook.com/LOrealParisID she looks different, and i noticed, the make up, especially the lips makes her looks stunning. And guess what? Hihihi.. i got me one! Yeayy... The exact same lipstick like Dian Sastro is using, Color Riche Pink Passion # 371.

Let's on to review shall we?

Texture : Smooth, love it! Glides well on my lips.
Smell : Checked, not too bubly perfumey but has a bit of  fresh bubble gum scent.
Intensity : Excelent, one swatch is all you got.
Longevity : If not eating, it stays for 2-3 hours.
Price : Rp 105.000 ( Approx. $10)

 I think this color looks good both on NC and NW undertone. Don't you Ladies?

And what i think L'Oreal can improve in the future about this lipstick are the moisturizer thingy.
On first application, my lips looks moist and glossy. But after 2 hours of usage, the texture become more matte. Which is okay, especially i worked at air conditioned room.

Overall i would like to give this lipstick 8/10, quite an accomplishment for the lipgloss addict like me.

Ehem.. what is missing? MY LIPS OF COURSE... hahaha...
